About GreenContext

GreenContext is a student-led prototype for environmental communicators. It helps turn a campaign brief into editable messages while keeping evidence, practical actions, and human review visible. The working software includes mentor and AI assistance.

How the messages are developed

The brief considers your objective, national or local context, audience involvement, obstacles to action, available information, action owner, feasibility, timing, channel, visuals, and optional budget together. Your environmental-quality rating is one input among these. It is not AQI, a measurement, a health rating, or a measure of audience willingness.

Application rules check the brief and constrain the AI request. The AI drafts language and material specifications. You can inspect the reasoning summary, edit each draft, and review verification notes before copying or downloading. Nothing is published automatically.

AirProject is the environmental-perception and advertising-preference research project that informs part of this prototype. Its exploratory findings suggest questions to consider about efficacy, skepticism, and avoidance. They do not establish that a particular message will change behavior or improve environmental conditions. The original survey categories, this tool’s organization-entered rating, and official monitoring measures are distinct.

GreenContext does not independently verify facts. An explicit online search retrieves public sources and proposes summaries for you to review. Ordinary supplied website links are not automatically opened. The environmental-quality rating is your organization’s assessment, not a verified factual claim. Check factual statements before public use. A fictional sample is an illustration, not evidence about a real place.

Your data and privacy

On this device: saving is on by default and clearly shown above the brief. Text inputs, drafts, edits, selected formats, and generation details are saved in this browser. A draft expires 30 days after its last saved change and is removed the next time you open the workspace. Other people using this browser profile may be able to read it. Private browsing or clearing browser data can remove it sooner.

Turn off “Save on this device” or choose “Delete saved draft” to remove the local saved copy. Your open work remains until you close or replace it. Uploaded or generated preview images are session-only and are not included in browser draft saving.

Optional evidence: files are read in your browser; original files are not uploaded. Extracted excerpts, notes, search summaries, and your selections are saved with the local draft when saving is on. Only selected evidence is sent when you generate. Online search separately sends the selected topics, campaign types, primary ask, visible public search question, country, and local area to OpenAI’s web search; it does not send organization notes or uploaded text. Search suggestions are not independently verified.

When you generate: your campaign brief and the application’s strategy instructions are sent through GreenContext’s server to OpenAI for text generation. The configured text model for this deployment is gpt-6-astra; the model used for each successful set also appears below its drafts. Generation does not happen simply because you type in the form.

The application does not write campaign briefs or drafts to a GreenContext server database. It requests that OpenAI not store the response as retrievable application state. This is not a promise of zero provider retention: provider abuse-monitoring and operational policies may still apply. See OpenAI’s API data controls. Hosting infrastructure may also keep operational request logs. Do not enter confidential strategy, sensitive personal information, or material you are not authorized to share.

Images: public AI illustration generation is disabled. An organization image selected for preview stays in the browser session and is not uploaded by the preview tool. Review image rights and consent before use.

Feedback: an email you choose to send goes to Michael Fang’s Gmail inbox. Browser draft deletion does not delete emails, files you downloaded, or provider operational records. Contact Michael if you need to discuss a feedback email.
